The 2015 “One Belt and One Road” Business Salon, organized by CCPIT Beijing, was held at 798 Art Zone on Oct. 15th. Over 20 officials from ten-odd embassies in China of countries along the Belt and Road talked face to face with more than 80 Chinese entrepreneurs from various sectors around the theme of “New Silk Road, New Business Opportunities”.
In line with the trends of world economy and trade, CCPIT Beijing and Beijing Chamber of International Commerce have established different types of economic and trade platforms - including the Salon as one of the information hubs - to promote the implementation of “One Belt and One Road” initiative, said Xiong Jiuling, Chairperson of CCPIT Beijing. By inviting commercial service offices under embassies in China of countries along the routes to talk face to face with domestic enterprises, the salon not only facilitates the access of the enterprises and relevant institutions to more abundant and authoritative overseas investment and trade information, but also offers the offices a better sense of the enterprises’ expectations of the investment environment of their respective countries.
