Sino-Foreign Film Co-production Forum
Sino-Foreign Film Co-production Forum of 4th Beijing International Film Festival was held at Beijing Hotel on Apr. 17th. Activator once again provided interpretation services for the summit forum.
Boasting a constellation of outstanding film professionals around the world, the forum started with debates on international co-production and applied itself to enhance cooperation and exchange of related sectors at home and abroad for the sake of a “China-based, global-oriented film industry”.
Moderated by Zhang Xun, General Manager of China Film Co-production Corporation, the forum featured discussions on “Localization Strategy of International Co-production” among distinguished guests including Mexican director Alfonso Cuarón, American director Oliver Stone, Russian director Timur Bekmambetov, Chief Operating Officer Frederick Huntsberry of Paramount Pictures Corporation, British producer Pete Czernin, French actor Jean Reno, and Vice President Ye Ning of Wanda Culture Group.
The speakers gathered insights into diversified, in-depth cooperation on film production and resource sharing through policy interpretation, localization strategy analysis and case study.
